Trade Surveillance Made Elegant: A Look Inside Trillium Surveyor’s New Brand. Learn More.

A Unique Heritage. Unrivaled Expertise. Solutions with Impact.

Surveyor combines modern technology with diligent client service to elegantly solve your toughest trade surveillance and regulatory compliance challenges.

Our Story:
Performance Through Practice

Having a robust, high-performance trade surveillance system in place has never been more important. Take it from us.

Surveyor was first developed over a decade ago by proprietary trading firm Trillium Trading. The firm was fined for inadequate trade surveillance, prompting a complete transformation of its regulatory compliance approach. When it couldn’t find a commercial product to meet its needs, Trillium decided to build its own. After several years of exceptional performance, Surveyor spun out into its own company, offering a modern platform with the performance characteristics required for comprehensive supervision.

We know firsthand what it takes to rapidly implement trade surveillance. We also know what overworked compliance teams need to effectively do their jobs. And we know what it means to stay ahead of the regulatory curve, even as regulators increase their pace.

Why not build your culture of compliance with Surveyor by taking the next step today?

Who is one historical or business figure you admire?

My favorite historical figure hasn’t changed much since third grade: Florence Nightingale. Besides being the mother of nursing, she was also a pioneer in data visualization – we owe histograms to her.

What’s one important lesson you’ve learned in your career?

This is another answer that may be from third grade, but the best advice I’ve received is to be respectful to everyone you cross paths with. It’s a small world, and you never know who you will work with again and who may be helpful in the future.

Who is one historical or business figure you admire?

Vasco de Gama. He was the ultimate explorer – the founding father of ocean trade and an amazing example of perseverance. He proves that the unknown is just an obstacle to overcome. If it doesn’t exist, find a way to create it. Vasco surrounded himself with a strong team to make the unknown a reality, and our modern economy is forever indebted to him.

Who is one historical or business figure you admire?

What’s one important lesson you’ve learned in your career?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that you want to work with people you trust and who have the same interest in solving problems as you do. Once those qualities are there, the other pieces usually fall into place.
